Humans of Brush Creek

Graphite on paper

On November 18th, 2015, I went on my journey at Brush Creek. I started my adventure at the Oak Street bridge and headed west until Westwood Road. I then turned around and headed all the way to the confluence of Brush Creek and the Blue River. I documented people that I found on my journey through a series of photographs, most of their hands. I then used the photos to create photorealistic drawings in order to show my experience and perception of the creek through the humans that interact with it.
